Greenfoot songs now on Amazon MP3 store!

Good news on the Greenfoot front! You can now find music from our Living Artifacts EP on the Amazon MP3 store!  The six tracks can be purchased for $.89 each.

Amazon Mp3 is my favorite on-line music store by far, so I’m really stoked to have our music available here!

See Greenfoot on the AmazonMP3 store.

We went through the TuneCore process to get our songs up and running, so Amazon Mp3 is the first of many additions, including iTunes. Watch in the coming weeks!

Final New Greenfoot Song

Greenfoot, my band, just released their final new song in this round of new releases: 1 Night Stand:

Greenfoot
Quantcast

We’re happy to present the final of our four new songs: 1 Night Stand. 1 Night Stand is one of the most classic and popular songs at our live shows. As you can tell from the title and lyrics, this Rockabilly groove depicts the story of the singles night-life in Downtown Denver. Listen to the verses and see if you can pick out the street names.

Thank everyone for giving our songs a listen! If you’re interested in download them, you can do it for free at our web site.  Also if you’re in Fort Collins/Northern Colorado on Sunday, come out to our benefit show!

More artwork: CSU Alternative Spring Break Benefit Poster

Earlier this week I posted my Rockies logo for my Graphic Design class.  Last weekend, I put together a personal project.  Greenfoot is playing a benefit show for the CSU Alternative Spring Break, and I volunteered to put together the poster for this show.  I’d be anxious to hear your thoughts:

Also if you’re in Fort Collins/Northern Colorado, we’d love for you to come out on Sunday night and support a great cause with us!

3rd of 4 Greenfoot songs: Pagans

Continuing our month of new releases, my band Greenfoot released our third of four new songs today.  This one’s called Pagans:

Greenfoot
Quantcast

Pagans is one of the strangest songs in the Greenfoot catalog. Not only does the song bounce between melodies, but also changes tempo, time signatures and beats to reflect the lyrics. Some images that came to Jake, our lead singer when writing the lyrics: Celtic lore, sacrifice, and celestial worship. It also touches on mob mentality and the difficulty of opposing the establishment.

What do you think of the song, especially in comparison of the other songs we released?  If you want to hear the rest of them, check out greenfootmusic.com/music

Check back next Friday, we have a really fun song to round things out!
